Raw and Uncut

I'm not much better than Tuesday, thanks for asking. In fact, I almost flipped out today. But I'm so thankful that God gently nudged  my heart and told me to CHILL OUT before I got out of control. I don't like when I snap at my kids. I feel bad. Thank God He knows I'm working on it.

I've also been nudged by a few bloggers (ahem, you know who you are) to do a vlog (video blog). And while I haven't had the time yet (or really anything vlog worthy to talk about), my daughter did snap this photo of me today.

What great photography skills, no?  I mean, that's better than I can do!  I love this Raw(e) picture (even though I am make-up-less and wearing a t-shirt and have my hair in a ponytail) because of the smile on my face. It's not just a fake "look at the camera and smile" smile. It's a "pure joy of being with my kids and a heart overflowing with love" smile. {Plus, I think I look good in red.}

These are the moments I pray I will remember for a lifetime.

I like this picture alot and I dont think makeup makes the person but the person makes the makeup. You look great without it so I am sure with it is just an extra. I also think it is great to have a picture of you, it is so often Mom's forget to get on the other side of the lens.

I like that you like your picture. So many women (me included) are so tough on themselves. It's refreshing to see someone actually be happy with how they look, sans make-up as well!
