What "all about me" post would be complete with a (brief) history of my childhood. (Don't worry... I'll keep it brief).
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago.
Have 1 older sister, 1 older brother and 1 younger brother. The 3 of us older ones are Irish Triplets.
I probably have typical middle-child syndrome.
But my older brother likes to refer to me as "the little engine that could." ***
I loved playing with my friends and being outside playing tag, hide and seek and other made up games.
I've been known to (and still can) fall asleep anywhere.
I like to think I was cool growing up, but I got a huge pair of glasses in the 3rd grade and it was all over. Thankfully, I got contacts by the 6th grade.
*** I played two sports in high school of which I probably had no business playing (hence the reference to "the little engine that could"). I played volleyball and I ran track. Specifically, the hurdles.
I dated one of my brother's best friends (that's my brother below, not my old boyfriend) for 4 years throughout high school.
I graduated, went to a prviate Christian university in central Indiana where I stayed for 3 years and met my now husband. I transferred my senior year to a bigger school that had my program (Exercise Science) and I graduated on time (thank goodness).
In the meantime, I watched my sister (below) graduated from medical school and head out west to begin her career as an infectious disease doctor. I watched my older brother get a degree in Theology and my younger brother go off to study Optical Engineering.
Upon graduating from college, I did an internship in Arizona and had a full-time job within months of graduating college at the ripe old age of 21. I moved out east to the great ok state of New York (where my new job was).
A year after me moving to New York, Hubby proposed, moved out there as well and we were married 1 year after getting engaged.

We had a fabulous wedding... a day that couldn't have been more perfect.

I got pregnant in the summer of 2006. My sweet Hannah was born in May of '07.
