Week 2 is done and gone. And... I admit to have failed a bit in this area. I guess the good thing that can come out of this is that I know I can continue to improved my relationship in this area.
I am home most mornings with my husband. Then, when I go to work around 1:00pm, I just get busy. Not an excuse at all. But if you knew how my afternoons/evenings went, you would know I hardly have time to pee. Not an excuse. Some nights, I get a chance to check a quick email, so I should at least be sending him something to let him know I'm thinking of him. I vow to really improve in this area. He was out of town Friday, Saturday, Sunday, so it wasn't hard for me to call and say hi and let him know I was missing him.
How did you do this week? Please comment or write your own "accountability" post so we can continue to encourage you and maybe even get some new ideas!!
Week 3: Love Note
Come up with a creative way to say a few words from the heart. It doesn't have to be long or dramatic, but do it in a different way. Write a ransom-style note using cut up magazines, write it in the sand, wrap it in a box, deliver it to his work, or just leave it for him next to his morning cup of coffee. If you get real ambitious, do this a few times this week, with each note being different and more creative!
Can't wait to see what you all come up with!! Oh, and last week, I only had 8 link up to say they were continuing on.... my original list was 20!! Where are you gals? Stick with it! Don't make me come hunt you down!! The original list can be found here... maybe we can ban together and get some of these girls on track, mmk? Ok.
Link up your story or just link your blog if you are continuing on!! Happy love-noting!!![]()

This has been a rough one for me too!! I am really looking forward to this week! There has to be a way to find balance, when you find it let me know! lol! Maybe we could program a reminder on the blackberry? I don't know!?
Week 2 was tough here also, I think I checked in with hubby about 4 times just to say hi. I really thought it would be so easy to do but life just got in the way. Looking forward to writing hubby a love note!
I'm still here, just forgot to leave a comment last week! This past week wasn't very hard for me since we call each other daily anyway. He only has certain times that he is given breaks, though, but I made sure to make the effort to be the one to make the phone call. We did find out this past week that we lost an old friend of ours in a car accident and it really put a perspective on mortality and making sure we spend each day together like it is our last. I can't wait for this weeks challenge. My hubby still has the letters I gave him back when we were dating.
I did okay last week- most days I had a chance to check in with him.
Have to get creative for this week!
Some really great ideas here.. I need to do this!!
Be blessed-
Amanda
Julia, like you, I came up woefully short this week. WOEFULLY. My job is crazy hectic, and DH is in class/training for his work (an intensive 5 month program) where he can't have his cell phone in the room with him-- so I thought, why bother? I intended to pack his lunch for him one day and lave a little love note inside, but that didn't happen either. Boo me :(

Confessions From A Working Mom
I already talk to the hubby several times a day, so I just continued doing so.
Its been a long time since I left him any love notes, though, so this week should be fun.
Sorry I didn't link up last week.
We call and text all day long!! It's really kinda sickening!! A love note ought to be cool...
(I'm down for a blackberry app reminder!!)
Stopping by from SITS to say Hi!
I am adding you so I can come back & read more!
